Ft Lauderdale fishing report

Been a while. Most of our winter was on the warm side. Good for being outside on the water but it did slow down the migration and made most trips a waiting game. We did get much better results during the last few weeks, as we should. We are about to enter our peak season for action. The Kingfish are back and eating. A few Sailfish are beating them to the baits. Some small Blackfin Tuna are taking turns too. The Dolphin bite has been a gamble but during the next month I expect them to be around again in numbers.

The inshore scene as always has produced well. If barracuda and jack crevalle will make you happy then you will be pleased. Live bait is the weapon of choice if you want to catch. The next few months should be some of our best bites that we get here, and many other areas too. Don't miss out.
