We are deep into May and it shows. After a week of constant wind we finally broke out and enterted some of the best action this year. The bite has been steady all week and the weather has been great.

The offshore scene is mostly made up of Kingfish but a fair mix of Dolphin, Bonita and a few Sailfish are rounding out the trips. Live bait has worked great just a mile or 2 outside the inlet. When the breeze kicks in the kite goes up and adds another weapon to the game. This is one of the best times of year to try your luck here. If you have the chance, take advantage and get on the water.
