Fort Lauderdale fishing report

Report Date: April 8, 2015

We finally made it into the spring run. The last few trips produced a nice mix of the fish we all want to tangle with. The weather has cooperated too.

Sailfish, Kingfish, Dolphin, Tuna and more. Live bait a mile or so outside the inlet has been working great.

The inshore scene has the Jack Crevalles and Barracudas eating the live bait too. As long as the current is moving, the fish were biting.

We are fast approaching the peak season. For the next few months the action should stay steady and most trips will be able to please those who give it a shot. Pick your lucky day and hope for the best.
