Fort Lauderdale Florida Deep Sea fishing report
Report Date: May 30, 2013
Before the rains and winds we had a food thing going. The last week has been a mix of heavy storms with lots of wind and rain. That has kept my boat at the dock and allowed me to catch up on other chores.
We did have a nice mix of Sailfish, Kingfish, large Bonita and a big fat Blackfin tuna on our last outing. The Dolphin are mostly offshore and the lucky ones who stumble across something are catching a few. Inshore the Barracuda and Jack Crevalles are still eating live baits and a few Spanish Macs and Bluefish are mixed in around the harbor. For those looking to tangle with Shark you can still bend a rod with patience.
The patterns will begin to take on a summer fell in the next few weeks but there are still some great weather days to be had before the heat and summer storms kick in. Pick a lucky day and give it a shot.
