Fort Lauderdale Florida offshore deep sea fishing report

The fall run is starting up. We had our second cool push from the north. Yesterday gave us a nice mixed catch. Dolphin were passing through and we grabbed a few for the table. Small Blackfin Tuna are around too. A few small Sharks ate the baits and did a good job of stretching the line on the spinning rods. The larger Hammerhead just wanted to check out the baits but no take. We battled a Sailfish for a little while until he decided to take off and part ways. Good air show and then down the road.

This seems to be the start of our seasonal fall migration. Picking the lucky should provide good action but who knows what day it will be? You feel lucky?
