Fort Lauderdale Florida deep sea fishing report

Well March is here, winter gone and it shows. The fishing during the last 3 weeks has been good to great. I only saw 1 slow day as fishing goes but most every trip has produced decent action and catches. The Dolphin have been in close, not much for size but they are moving through and keeping us busy. Kingfish, Bonita, Skipjack Tuna, Shark, Barracuda and Sailfish have all appeared boatside in the last week. This is the beginning of the spring run north. It should only get better over the next 6-8 weeks. Weather is always a big factor on what you can try and your chances of success. Since it changes fast and often here who knows what will work tomorrow or next week. Bottom line is your options are wide and the fish are playing well with others.
