Fort Lauderdale Florida fishing report

Been a while. I've been busy with the holidays and other projects during any spare time I have had. I am still getting out to play with the fishes too. The weather has sent us some cold weather (Florida cold) but that is okay because that also brings us fish. The Sailfish are stating to show. Live bait and the kite has worked great. Kingfish, Bonita and the occasional Dolphin has made it to the boat too.

Inshore the Barracuda and Jack Crevalle are cooperating. A frisky live bait placed in front of them gets instant reaction. With the fronts coming through at randomn the choice of of the trip and the luck of the weather that day plays a big role in what your chances are. Who knows what each day will bring, both the temps, winds and fish?
